CSJ Transportation & Tours is a land tour in Jamaica rated 5.0/5 by 10 TripAdvisor reviewers; from about $100 per person; lasts 4 hours.

About

CSJ Transportation & Tours operates out of Montego Bay with a perfect 5/5 from ten reviews — small sample, but that's a clean slate so far. They handle airport transfers, private tours, and custom itineraries across the island. The model is pretty standard for Jamaica's private driver-guides: you book a vehicle and a driver who knows the roads and the stops worth making. What sets them apart in the data is that rating consistency. Ten different groups all left top marks, which in this category usually means punctual pickups, clean vehicles, and a driver who reads the room — chatty if you want the context, quiet if you don't. No major ranking position to cite, but for a small operator, that's not unusual. If you're comparing transfer options in Montego Bay and you want something more flexible than the resort shuttle, this is the kind of outfit that works.

Visiting in October?

You'll likely find October quiet at Jamaican resorts, with low occupancy mentioned across properties and little wait for beach chairs or restaurant tables. Weather can be volatile — tropical storms are a real possibility (several reviewers cut trips short for Hurricane Melissa), and some report occasional rain or humidity. Prices tend to be lower, and staff have more time to personalize service, though a few resorts reduce dining hours or close amenities due to thin crowds.

Liberty Tours Jamaica - Day Tours

Liberty Tours Jamaica runs day trips out of Montego Bay, and with 1,778 reviews holding a perfect 5/5, they've clearly figured out the formula. They handle the standard circuit—Dunn's River Falls, YS Falls, rafting on the Martha Brae—but the rating suggests they're doing it without the cattle-car feel that drags down most tour operators. That kind of consistency across nearly two thousand reviews usually means punctual pickups, guides who know when to talk and when to shut up, and vehicles that don't break down halfway to Ocho Rios. Most of their routes pull from the north coast highlights, so expect full-day commitments. If you're staying in Montego Bay and want someone else to handle the driving and timing, this is the kind of operator that won't cost you half the day waiting in a hotel lobby. Book direct if you can—it's easier to sort out pickup details that way.

Jamaica Experience Tour

Jamaica Experience Tour runs a 5-out-of-5 with nearly 1,500 reviews behind it, which puts it in unusual territory for Montego Bay activities — most things with that volume slide below 4.5. The operation covers the standard circuit (Dunn's River, rafting, beach stops), but the consistency here suggests they've dialed in logistics: timing, guide quality, vehicle upkeep. Tours like this live or die on whether the driver knows which lunch spot won't wreck your afternoon or how to move a group of 40 through a waterfall climb without turning it into a parking lot. The rating spread implies they're getting that right more often than not. If you're booking a multi-stop day tour out of Montego Bay and want to reduce the odds of a busted bus or a guide checking their phone, this one has the track record.

Rocky's Taxi and Tour Services

Rocky's Taxi and Tour Services runs private tours across western Jamaica out of Negril. The 5-star rating across nearly 1,400 reviews is unusually consistent for a taxi operator, which tells you two things: punctuality matters here, and the drivers double as local guides who actually know where they're going. Most bookings involve personalized day trips — think Seven Mile Beach pickups for runs to Mayfield Falls, Rick's Café, the Blue Hole near Ocho Rios, or YS Falls down south. The service model is straightforward: you arrange pickup times directly, they show up on schedule, and the vehicle stays with you for the day. It's not a shuttle; it's a dedicated driver who builds the route around what you want to see. Pricing runs per vehicle, not per person, so groups of three or four make the math work better than solo travelers.
