Royalton Blue Waters, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort is an all-inclusive 4.5-star resort in Falmouth with 100 rooms rated 4.3/5 by 7,982 TripAdvisor reviewers; typical rates from about $385 a night; direct beach access.

About

Royalton Blue Waters sits on the north coast between Falmouth and Runaway Bay, a 100-room all-inclusive with direct beach access and a luxury build. The 4.3 rating comes from nearly 8,000 reviews, with rooms, sleep quality, location, and cleanliness all landing at 4.3—service slightly behind at 4.1, value at 3.9. The star rating is 4.5, and typical nightly rates run around $400. The property skews elegant over party (party score: 3/10), which fits the beachfront setting. It's not adults-only, but there's no kids' club, so families with older children tend to do better here than those with toddlers. North-facing means moderate seasonal seaweed from May through October, though it's typically raked daily. Walkability off-property is limited—this is a stay-put resort. If you're comparing Falmouth area all-inclusives, this one trades animation-team energy for a quieter, more polished vibe. The value subrating suggests you're paying for finish and location more than programming.

Excellence Oyster Bay

Excellence Oyster Bay sits on a private peninsula just west of Falmouth, and it's adults-only by design. The resort caps at 100 rooms, which keeps the vibe intimate rather than sprawling—this isn't the place for pool parties or nightly entertainment benders. The 4.8 location rating holds up: direct beach access on a north-facing stretch that gets seasonal sargassum between May and October, though staff rake it daily. Rooms and sleep quality both score 4.6, and cleanliness comes in at 4.7, which tracks for a property at this price tier. The all-inclusive setup covers meals and drinks without nickel-and-diming, and the service rating of 4.5 suggests the staff keeps things moving. Value sits at 4.4—fair, not a steal, but you're paying for the seclusion and the lack of kids running through the lobby. If you want a quiet week on the north coast and don't need nightly entertainment or a swim-up bar, this works. It's not walkable to anything off-property, so plan to stay put or arrange transport.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, Adults Only

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters sits on a quiet stretch of north coast beach between Falmouth and Montego Bay, and the adults-only policy keeps it that way. With just 100 rooms, it runs smaller and quieter than the nearby mega-resorts — the 4.4/5 location score reflects direct beach access without the crowds. The all-inclusive setup is standard mid-tier luxury: bars, restaurants, nightly entertainment, and staff who keep the property clean (4.2/5 cleanliness rating holds across 1,100+ reviews). Rooms come in at 3.9/5, so expect functional rather than Instagram-perfect, but sleep quality holds at 4.1/5, which matters more on a long trip. Service is steady at 4.0/5 — not heroic, but reliable. The value rating sits at 3.8/5, which tracks for a resort running around $550/night; you're paying for privacy and beach access, not novelty. Sargassum can show up May through October on this coast, though the resort typically clears it quickly. Walkability off-property is low — this is a stay-put kind of spot.

Ocean Eden Bay - Adults Only

Ocean Eden Bay sits in Mountain Spring Bay on Jamaica's north coast, and it bills itself as adults-only — which means you won't be dodging pool floaties or hearing children at the buffet. The 4.4 rating for rooms and sleep quality suggests they've gotten the basics right, and the 4.1 for value makes sense for a mid-tier all-inclusive where you're not paying for family programming or kids' clubs. The location score of 4.4 is solid, though Mountain Spring Bay isn't as walked-about as Montego Bay or Negril. You're trading proximity to the strip for quieter beach access and fewer crowds. The service rating sits at 4.1, which is respectable but not exceptional — expect competent staff without the hyper-attentive polish of higher-end properties. Nearly 3,000 reviews and a 4.2 overall rating mean it's consistent enough that you know what you're getting. If you want an adults-only stay without breaking into luxury pricing, this does the job.

Restaurants nearby

Falmouth

Leon's Lobster Hut

Leon's Lobster Hut sits right on Trelawny Beach in Falmouth, which means you're ordering with sand between your toes. The focus is seafood and Caribbean staples, and the 4.8 food rating reflects what comes out of the kitchen — lobster priced mid-range and cooked straightforward. The atmosphere score matches: beachfront casual, families welcome, no reservations needed. Value here runs higher than you'd expect for lobster this close to the cruise terminal, which probably explains why locals show up alongside day-trippers. Service keeps pace even when the tables fill. If you're weighing options in Falmouth, this is where the food subrating separates from the tourist traps a mile east. Walk-ins work fine. Bring cash as backup.

Falmouth

Glistening Waters

Glistening Waters sits right on the Luminous Lagoon in Falmouth, and most people come for the bioluminescence tour, not the meal. The restaurant is beachfront and kid-friendly, serving Caribbean and seafood at mid-range prices. The atmosphere rating is the highest part of the scorecard—4.1 out of 5—which makes sense when you're eating with a view of the water. The food itself scores lower, at 3.4, and value trails at 3.1, so set expectations accordingly. This is more about the setting and the convenience of pairing dinner with the lagoon experience than about chasing a standout plate. Service sits at 3.8, which is solid enough. If you're booking a night tour, it's easy to fold in a meal here. Just know you're paying for location as much as anything on the menu.

Falmouth

Lobster Taberna

Lobster Taberna is on Burwood Public Beach in Falmouth, which is the quiet stretch west of Ocho Rios and east of Montego Bay. The price level is fine dining, which is unusual for a beach location in this area—most beachfront spots lean casual. There's only one review, so calling it highly rated would be a stretch, but that single rating is a 5. What that likely means: either it's brand new, or it operates under the radar with a narrow audience. The name telegraphs the focus, and fine dining on a public beach in Falmouth suggests this isn't your typical jerk-and-fried-fish setup. Without more detail on what's actually on the menu or who's running it, it's hard to say what makes the experience elevated, but the combination of location and price tier is distinct enough to stand out if you're already in Falmouth and want something other than the resort buffet.

Beaches nearby

Falmouth

Burwood Beach

Burwood Beach sits east of Falmouth, away from the port crowds. It's a local beach without the infrastructure — no facilities, no built-in shade, so plan accordingly. The 4.1 rating with 60 reviews suggests people find it, but it's not the kind of place families with small kids typically gravitate toward. The swimming and snorkeling are both mid-range. You can get in the water, but this isn't anyone's top pick for underwater visibility or exceptional conditions. Moderate crowds mean you'll have company but not the wall-to-wall situation you'd see at Doctor's Cave or the resort strips. It's more about having a stretch of sand that isn't managed or manicured. Bring what you need — water, sunblock, something to sit under if midday sun is a problem. The lack of amenities is the point for some people, a dealbreaker for others. If you're staying nearby and want a quick swim without the production, it works.
