Celebrity Villa Jamaica is a 3.5-star resort in Montego Bay with 100 rooms rated 3.5/5 by 12 TripAdvisor reviewers; typical rates from about $110 a night.

About

Celebrity Villa Jamaica is tucked away on Lambert Street in Montego Bay, off the main tourist corridor. The 3.5 rating and small review count tell a mixed story, and the subratings spell it out: rooms score a strong 4.7, but sleep quality drops to 2.5, and cleanliness sits at 1.5. That's a wide spread, and it suggests the property looks better than it operates day-to-day. Location rates the lowest at 1.7, which likely means you're not walking to the beach or Hip Strip from here. The value rating of 3.0 and service at 2.8 reinforce that this isn't a polished resort experience. If the room itself matters more to you than the surrounding operation, the 4.7 might carry weight. But the cleanliness and sleep quality numbers are hard to ignore, especially at a villa-style property where those basics should be easier to control. Worth comparing against other Montego Bay options before committing.

Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica sits on Mahoe Bay in the Rose Hall area of Montego Bay, and it's strictly adults-only—no exceptions. The 4.8 service rating stands out even in a segment where attentiveness is standard, and the 4.8 cleanliness score backs it up. This is a smaller property by all-inclusive resort standards, just 100 rooms, which keeps things quieter and easier to navigate. Direct beach access means you're on protected waters with minimal seaweed trouble, a real advantage on this part of the north coast. The price point hovers around $400 per night, which puts it above mid-tier but not in ultra-luxury territory. What you're paying for is consistency: strong sleep quality ratings, good room condition, and staff who don't vanish when you need something. The party score is moderate—there's evening entertainment, but this isn't where the spring break crowd lands. If you want an adults-only stay without the chaos and you value execution over novelty, this delivers.

Hotel Riu Montego Bay

Hotel Riu Montego Bay sits on Mahoe Bay, just north of the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, with direct beach access. It's a four-star all-inclusive that runs around $400 a night, which puts it in the mid-tier for the area. The service rating is the strongest subrating at 4.2, and cleanliness comes in at 4.3 — both ahead of the overall 3.9 score, which suggests the fundamentals work even if the property doesn't wow everyone. The beach is the draw here, though like most north coast resorts, you'll see sargassum accumulation May through October; the resort typically manages it. The walkability score is moderate, so if you want to leave the grounds for local spots, you'll probably need a taxi. It's not adults-only and there's no kids' club, so families show up but don't expect dedicated programming. The party score sits at a 3 — lively enough at the pool bar, quiet enough to sleep.

Hotel Riu Reggae

Hotel Riu Reggae is tucked into Mahoe Bay on the north coast outside Montego Bay, and the adults-only policy keeps the volume manageable. It's a smaller all-inclusive—around a hundred rooms—so the beach and pool don't feel like a convention. Cleanliness scores above 4.7 matter when you're wearing sandals everywhere, and service at 4.5 suggests the staff ratio is working. The bay faces north, which means better protection from the seasonal seaweed that chokes other stretches of coastline. You're paying around $400 a night for the all-in setup, which includes meals, drinks, and beach access without nickel-and-diming. It's not a party resort—the vibe leans quieter—but if you want reef snorkeling or serious nightlife, you'll need a taxi. This is the place if you'd rather read on a lounge chair than organize your own meals.

Scotchies

Scotchies is a jerk shack on the Falmouth Road just outside Montego Bay, and it's where locals send visitors who ask where to eat jerk chicken. The setup is open-air tables under a covered pavilion, smoke drifting over from the oil-drum pits where they cook pork and chicken over pimento wood. The 4.5 food rating across nearly 4,000 reviews tracks with what you get: charred, smoky meat that's actually spiced right, not just hot. They also do festival, breadfruit, and yam on the side. It's cheap — the price level reflects that — and the value rating bears it out. Service is straightforward: you order at the counter, they call your number, you sit. The atmosphere is what it is: picnic benches, ceiling fans, reggae on the speaker, and a lot of people who drove out of their way to eat here. It's not polished, but that's not the appeal.

Montego Bay

Tokyo Jo's

Tokyo Jo's is the teppanyaki spot inside Sandals Montego Bay, which means you're here for the show as much as the food. Chefs work the flat-top at your table, flipping shrimp and stacking onion volcanoes while you sit elbow-to-elbow with other resort guests. The atmosphere rating is perfect for a reason — it's loud, theatrical, and everyone's half a bottle of wine in by the time the knives start flying. The food and value subratings both sit at 4.6, which is high for resort dining. You're not getting revelatory Japanese cuisine, but the portions are generous, the steak comes out tender, and since it's all-inclusive, you're not watching the bill climb. Service keeps pace even when the room is packed. It's a solid pick if you're staying on property and want something more involved than the buffet. Just know you're trading intimacy for entertainment — this is dinner as a group activity.

Jimmy Buffett's Air Margaritaville

Jimmy Buffett's Air Margaritaville sits inside Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, where it serves American and Caribbean food to travelers between flights. The atmosphere rating is the strongest of its subratings at 4.0, which makes sense—it's themed, it's air-conditioned, and it's a break from the departure lounge. Food and service hover in the mid-3s, value slightly lower at 3.3, which tracks for airport pricing. The menu leans into burgers, jerk options, and frozen drinks. It's casual and kid-friendly, no reservation needed. If you're killing time before a flight and want something that isn't a prefab sandwich, this works. Expect airport pace and airport portions. The 515 reviews suggest steady traffic, and the 3.8 overall rating is about what you'd predict for a mid-range chain concept in a captive location. It's not a destination, but it's competent enough if you're already there.
