The Bachelorette
This is the bachelorette trip that earns its own group chat name. Six to ten friends, one walkable Palm Beach base, and a week built around open bars, sunset cruises, jerk smoke, and exactly one morning where nobody has to be anywhere. You'll party on boats, dance through Montego Bay's Hip Strip, and recover on the sand when you need to.
Day 1
Arrival & Hip Strip Warm-Up
Afternoon
Land at Sangster, grab your private transfer straight to Palm Beach. Check in, unpack the matching shirts, and claim your spot by the pool.
Evening
Walk to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville for frozen drinks, a water trampoline, and the kind of tourist chaos that feels exactly right on night one. Stay for dinner or move down Gloucester Avenue to The Pelican Grill if you want something a little quieter with your jerk chicken.
Day 2
Catamaran Party & Sunset at Rick's
Morning
Sleep in. Take your coffee to Doctor's Cave Beach — it's a five-minute walk, the water is ridiculous, and nobody's asking you to be anywhere until noon.
Afternoon
Board a shared catamaran cruise with open bar, snorkel gear, and a DJ who knows exactly what playlist this group needs. You'll snorkel a reef, dance on deck, and arrive at Rick's Café by late afternoon.
Evening
Rick's Café delivers: cliff divers launching from 35 feet, Appleton flowing, reggae blasting, and a sunset that actually lives up to the hype. Stay for dinner or ride back and hit Pier 1 on the Montego Bay waterfront for late-night dancing.
Day 3
Adventure Morning, Recovery Afternoon, Nightlife Push
Morning
Book an ATV-and-beach combo tour — you'll ride through hills, cool off in the water, and be back by early afternoon before anyone's too sunburned to function.
Afternoon
Nap. Hydrate. Float in the pool. This is the recovery window you'll need before tonight.
Evening
Dinner at Scotchies for jerk chicken straight off the grill — it's smoky, spicy, and exactly what you came for. Then book the Montego Bay Nightlife Tour with private transportation so you can hit Lounge 2727 and the Hip Strip clubs without worrying about how you're getting home.
Day 4
Beach Drag, Jerk Lunch, Final Night Out
Morning
Late start. Walk to Cornwall Beach or stay at your resort's strip — nobody's climbing anything today.
Afternoon
Lunch at The Pork Pit on Gloucester Avenue — cheap, smoky, and you can walk there. Spend the rest of the afternoon floating, packing, or doing absolutely nothing.
Evening
Final dinner wherever the group votes, then one last push to Margaritaville or the Hip Strip. If anyone suggests an early night, remind them they can sleep on the plane.
Know before you go
- Book the catamaran and nightlife transportation at least a week ahead — shared boats fill fast and private drivers get snatched up during high season.
- Palm Beach in Montego Bay keeps you walking distance from Doctor's Cave, the Hip Strip, and every late-night spot you'll actually want to hit.
- Pace the excursions: one big adventure day, one boat day, and at least one morning where the only plan is coffee and sand.
- Scotchies and The Pork Pit are cash-friendly and the jerk is better than anything you'll get at the resort.
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen — you'll be in the water more than you think, and the Caribbean sun does not mess around.
- Rick's Café gets mobbed at sunset, but that's half the point. Arrive early if you want a table with a view.
- The Hip Strip is walkable and loud — if someone in the group wants quiet, they picked the wrong trip.
- Shared catamaran cruises come with open bars, which means exactly what you think it means. Hydrate between rounds.
Make it yours.
